Daily Painting - Still Life - Pencil Sharpener

Pencil Sharpener 5 in. x 7 in. Oil On Panel - SOLD

If you are under 25 you may not even recognize this! It is an old Boston pencil sharpener from the 60's. This is something that my wife bought years ago and I thought that it would make an interesting subject. Mostly I was attracted to the shape of the sharpener and the old somewhat tarnished steel. I hope that you enjoy the painting!

Glove And Ball 8 in. x 10 in. Oil On Panel - SOLD

This is another baseball glove painting. It is of my old Rawlings Fastback glove with a different composition for the first. I have to say that painting the leather of this glove is really fun. I hope that you enjoy the painting!

Daily Painting - Still Life - Old Brushes

Old Brushes 5 in. x 7 in. Oil On Panel - SOLD

This is a painting of an old stainless steel brush vase and a handful of old brushes. I probably have several hundred brushes that I have used over the years that I keep stored away for some unknown reason. This group was in the vase in one of my cabinets and I thought they would make an interesting painting. I also have a new Fresnel light light that I'm now using which throws subtle shadows across the subject that I'm hoping came through in the painting. I hope that you enjoy it!

Landscape - Hobbiton

Hobbiton - 20 in. x 24 in. Oil On Linen Canvas - SOLD

This is a different type of painting for me. I typically have not painted subjects in the fantasy genre. However my son and I both are fans of Lord of The Rings and The Hobbit, and he wanted a painting of Hobbiton. As it turned out this was a fun painting to create. I used numerous photographs that I compiled as reference and then basically created the painting from my imagination. I hope that you enjoy it!
