Original Art - Oil Painting - Shells and Storm

Shells and Storm - 20 in. x 24 in. Oil On Canvas

This is a big storm on the Gulf of Mexico from the back deck of the beach house we were staying in late this summer on a family vacation. The wind really had the waves up and the horizontal cloud and storm line was really amazing to see. This island has a lot of shells that wash up with the tides and the row on the window ledge were some that we had collected over the previous day. This painting makes me think of hope... All storms pass and the sun eventually shines again. I hope that you enjoy it.
