The subject is a terracotta pot of Geraniums. Normally when I do a still life it is in the studio, this was painted plein air The flowers were grown by my sister in law and I painted them from their back yard. It was very sunny and very hot in middle Tennessee over the weekend but I was able to put my easel in the shade when I was painting and listened to the Indy 500 on the radio. Made for a fun day of painting. I hope that you enjoy this one.
